About Us

Barwara Kothi is a heritage boutique homestay lovingly run by a mother and daughter-in-law duo, offering guests a warm blend of history, heart, and genuine Rajasthani hospitality.

About our ROYAL HOSPITALITY

Barwara Kothi is more than a homestay -it’s a labor of love run by a mother and daughter in law duo for over sixteen years. Needless to say we have nurtured great friendships and a repeat clientele over these years wherein conversations flow over a cup of coffee and a slice of homemade cake.

The current owner’s grandfather, Raja Man Singh was a World War II veteran and a close confidant- as well as cousin of the late Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Mansinghji. He was given the title of Raja after he fought in the Jaipur Man Guards regiment in the second world war against the Japanese as part of the British Army. Also showcased at the Kothi are handwritten letters between the two exhibiting their close camaraderie.
The family’s royal lineage traces back to Chauth ka Barwara which is located 2 hours from Jaipur close to Ranthambore, the tiger sanctuary village.

Barwara Kothi is described by most guests as your ‘home away from home’ .Whether you’re a first time visitor or a returning friend, Barwara Kothi invites you to slow down, share stories and experience authentic Rajasthani hospitality.

Our food is simple, honest, home cooked, fresh using locally sourced ingredients and is an element which draws our regular guests to stay with us again and again.
